Melt Blown PP Water Filter Cartridge
Melt blown PP filter cartridges, also called PP cartridges, are made from polypropylene (PP) particles melted at 260°C into ultrafine fibers and thermally bonded into a 3D microporous structure. These water filter cartridges handle pH 1–13, filtration from 0.5–150 μm, withstand up to 82°C, and can be steam-sterilized at 126°C for 30 minutes.
With a gradient pore design (loose outside, dense inside), they offer uniform pores, high dirt-holding capacity, and low pressure drop. Widely used in water treatment:
Pre-treatment: Remove large particles in municipal/industrial water.
Household purifiers: Trap sediment and rust.
Drinking water devices: Ensure safe, direct consumption.
High-purity water: Security filter before reverse osmosis.
Special applications: Industrial wastewater pre-treatment and seawater desalination primary filtration.

3 Micron Polypropylene Melt Blown Filter Cartridge
Suitable for removing larger particles such as sediment and rust. This type of cartridge is commonly used for pre-filtration to protect downstream finer filters.

5 Micro Melt Nlown Filter Cartridges
Balances filtration efficiency and flow rate, making it suitable for everyday household use and capable of removing most visible impurities.

10 Micro Melt Blown Polypropylene Filter Cartridge
High flow but lower filtration precision, suitable for pre-filtration or areas with good water quality; choose pore size based on actual water conditions.

25 Micron PP Melt Blown Filter Cartridge
It is a coarse or pre-filtration filter with relatively low precision, mainly used to remove larger suspended particles. It is suitable for surface water, well water, and municipal water pre-filtration, helping remove sand, rust, and suspended solids, and reducing the load on downstream filtration systems.

50 Micron PP Melt Blown Cartridge Filter
50μm = a front-end filter designed to block large particles, suitable for primary raw water filtration, the first stage of multi-stage filtration systems, as well as agricultural irrigation and industrial coarse filtration.

75 Micro Melt Blown Cartridge Filter
The filter cartridge has a gradient pore structure—loose outside, dense inside—combining surface and depth filtration to capture particles in stages. As the first stage in water purifiers, it intercepts visible impurities like sand, rust, and suspended solids, protecting downstream precision filters.

100 Micro Melt-blown Polypropylene Filter Cartridge
Made of pure polypropylene, the material offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, with a pH tolerance range of 1 to 13, allowing it to withstand strong acidic and alkaline environments and suit a variety of harsh conditions.
String Wound Water Filter Cartridges
The string wound water filter cartridge features a filtration precision controlled by the winding density and the size of the diamond-shaped pores in the innermost layer, ranging from 0.5 to 100 μm. It offers high flow rate, low pressure drop, and strong dirt-holding capacity, and can be made with different material combinations to meet various liquid filtration needs. Operating temperature and pressure vary depending on the materials, such as polypropylene (PP), degreased cotton/glass fiber, or a glass fiber core with stainless steel. Technical specifications include an initial filtration efficiency of 95%, lengths from 125 to 1016 mm, outer diameters of Φ65 mm or Φ114 mm, and multiple connection options. It is widely used in precision filtration of low-impurity fluids.
1 micron / 5 micron /10 micron / 20micro String Wound Water Filter Cartridge

10 inch string wound sediment water filter cartridge
The liquid to be filtered enters from the outside of the filter cartridge and flows inward through the narrow, winding diamond-shaped channels of the outer layer. During this process, particles are captured as the fibers on the channel walls intercept and trap them.

pp sediment string wound water filter cartridge 20inch
precision tubular depth filter element, mainly used in electronics, chemical, food, water treatment, and industrial fluid filtration. It is also suitable for filtering tap water, food and beverage water, domestic water, cooling and circulating water, organic solvents, plating solutions, oils, and pharmaceutical products.

30 Inch String Water Filter Cartridges
The filtration precision of a string wound filter cartridge is determined by the size of the innermost diamond-shaped pores—the smaller the pores, the higher the precision. The total number of channels along the cartridge length is: total channels = cross-sectional × longitudinal × 2. Higher precision means more channels, enabling efficient filtration at lower pressure drop.

40 Inch String Wound Sediment Water Filter Cartridge
PP string wound cartridges work below 82 °C, resist acids/alkalis, pH 2–13, for water and chemical solutions. Degreased cotton below 120 °C, for water, solvents, oils, alkaline solutions, beverages, pharmaceuticals. GF up to 300 °C, compatible except with HF and steam.
Pleated Water Filter Cartridge
Water treatment pleated filter cartridges are precision filtration elements that use microporous membranes such as polypropylene (PP), nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyethersulfone (PES), and PFA as the filtration media.
The cartridge features a pleated structure, offering a compact size, large filtration area, and high filtration efficiency. The filtration rating ranges from 0.1 to 10 μm.
The end caps and overall structure are thermally bonded to ensure reliable sealing and integrity. Various internationally compatible connection types are available, including 215, 222, 226, flat end, and threaded configurations.
The maximum operating temperature is 80°C, with a maximum differential pressure of 0.4 MPa, and a recommended feed water pressure of 0.25 kg/cm².
These cartridges are widely used in applications such as beverage and beer filtration, pretreatment for semiconductor ultrapure water systems, pharmaceutical and biochemical filtration, chemical solvent purification, as well as oilfield water injection, natural gas, and fuel filtration in the petroleum industry.

Manufactured in a cleanroom environment, it guarantees safe and dependable use across various applications.

40 Inch PP Pleated Fiber Membrane Water Filter Cartridge
In the water treatment field, pleated filter cartridges are commonly used in pure water systems and as pretreatment for reverse osmosis (RO) systems. They effectively remove impurities such as sand, suspended particles, and colloids from raw water, thereby protecting downstream membrane elements (such as RO membranes and ultrafiltration membranes) and extending their service life.

40 Inch High Flow Water Filter Cartridge
The high-flow design allows for fewer cartridges and filter housings to be used under the same flow conditions, significantly reducing equipment investment costs. It is widely applied in high-flow reverse osmosis (RO) pretreatment in industries such as power generation, electronics, chemicals, and metallurgy, as well as for use in security filtration and ultrafiltration (UF) pretreatment.
FAQ of Water Filter Cartridge
How often should you change water filter cartridge?
Typically replaced every 3–6 months. In areas with poor water quality, replacement may be required every 3–4 months, while in areas with good water quality, it can be extended to 6 months.
What is pp sediment filter?
PP filter cartridges, also known as PP melt-blown filter cartridges, are filtration devices made from ultra-fine polypropylene fibers. They are mainly used for liquid pre-filtration in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and electronics, including applications like water treatment and pharmaceutical solution filtration.
Bag filter vs cartridge filter water?
Choosing a Bag Filter: Recommended when the requirements are high flow rate, high solids content, easy maintenance, and medium filtration precision (e.g., 1–50 μm), especially for higher-viscosity media such as coatings or wastewater.
Choosing a Cartridge Filter: Recommended when high filtration precision (≤1 μm), low solids content, and stringent sanitary standards are required (e.g., pharmaceuticals, electronics), and higher initial costs and more frequent maintenance are acceptable.
