FAQ of Reverse Osmosis Membrane Housing

What is FRP membrane housing manufacturing process?

Raw Material Preparation & Pretreatment → Filament Winding → Curing → Demolding & Trimming → Surface Finishing & Component Assembly
Note: The entire production process strictly follows pressure vessel standards such as ASME to ensure safety and reliability under high-pressure conditions (typically 150–1200 PSI).

Remove the end plates on both sides of the pressure vessel, and install the adapter onto the concentrate (brine) side of the permeate tube of the first membrane element. Then, push the membrane element into the pressure vessel along the direction of the feed water flow.

When installing multiple membrane elements consecutively, prepare the next membrane element and its connector before the previous one is fully inserted into the housing. At the same time, take care to avoid contact between the membrane elements and the edges of the pressure vessel to prevent scratches, and push them in as parallel as possible.

Shut down the system, stop the water, release pressure via the relief valve, remove the end cap plug and baffle, then install the membrane puller with two crossed steel plates, hand-tighten the screws, and gradually secure with an adjustable wrench.
