APPLICATION
Power Plants
Applied in boiler feed water and condensate polishing systems where feed water TDS typically ranges from 2,000 to 8,000 mg/L. The membrane ensures high salt rejection and stable permeate quality to protect boilers and improve thermal efficiency.
Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing
Used in ultrapure water production for precision processes. Treats feed water with moderate salinity (2,000–6,000 mg/L) to produce low-conductivity water, serving as a pretreatment step before mixed-bed or EDI systems.
Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industry

CHINA SUPPLIERS STATUS
In the “Made in China 2025” initiative, membrane products are identified as a key development focus among advanced materials. The plan sets goals for reducing the cost of water treatment membrane materials by more than 20% by 2025, and lowering the energy consumption of special separation membranes and gas separation membranes by 20%. Separation equipment based on membrane materials will become the main separation technology in industries such as petrochemical and coal chemical processing, with separation efficiency expected to improve by 30%, and the localization rate to exceed 50%.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China’s membrane technology industry is projected to maintain rapid growth, with total output value expected to reach about USD 70 billion by 2025, and USD 110–140 billion by 2035. Currently, China has become one of the world’s most important producers of reverse osmosis membranes, accounting for 18.98% of global production, ranking second only to the United States.
